Accounting Manager - BOI (120K - 150K)
About this position
The Accounting Manager - BOI is responsible for ensuring compliance with BOI accounting and reporting requirements, overseeing accounting operations, and leading a team of accounting professionals.
Responsibilities
• Ensure full compliance with BOI accounting and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely BOI reports and documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BOI regulations and any changes that may impact the company.
• Liaise with BOI officials and auditors as needed.
• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures in accordance with both Thai GAAP and BOI regulations.
• Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions between BOI and non-BOI entities.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance.
• Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with company policies.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.
• Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on accounting principles and BOI regulations.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting management, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
• Extensive experience in managing accounting for both BOI and non-BOI companies.
• In-depth knowledge of BOI accounting regulations, tax incentives, and reporting requirements.
• Strong understanding of Thai GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
