Senior Officer, Service Planner
About this position
The Senior Officer, Service Planner is responsible for managing service parts KPIs, ensuring timely supply chain operations, and maintaining inventory levels to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities
• Manage and analysis service parts KPI, responsible for driving planning KPIs, such Back Order (BO), inventory control.
• Design to acquire and supply parts required for service within supply lead time. Supply parts by managing back order, discontinued parts, and LTB (Last Buy).
• Plan an appropriate level of inventory by discarding unusable inventory and relocating inventory among related departments (subsidiaries, etc.). Improve accuracy of inventory.
• Initiate or support projects improvement in order to continually improve and maintain MRP and forecast to obtain sufficient stock levels of spare parts to meet KPI.
• Monitor and analyze vendor performance to ensure an on time supply chain.
• Expedites and devises alternative solutions to resolve backorders and schedule delivery of critical parts in a timely manner.
• Accurately maintain parts database for new part additions.
• Conduct excess/obsolete inventory analyzes to identify required inventory reserves, and to locate opportunities to redistribute slow-moving inventory for consumption.
• Disposition and processing of excess, end of life and scrap inventory.
• Ensure inventory receiving activities are completed and discrepancies corrected – overages, shortages and damage.
• Tracking logistics process and follow up shipment with 3rd party to ensure shipment will arrive on time as necessary.
• Provide daily backorders report to management.
• Coordinate with service center and other departments to find solutions for customers.
• Perform inventory audit at Samsung Service Warehouse and All Samsung Service Center.
• Provide support on special projects as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field of study.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in material planning, demand planner purchasing or stock planner, inventory management.
• Good in English, both written and spoken.
• Equipped with strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills in order to demonstrate ability to collaborate and contribute as a team member: understanding personal and team roles, contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships to different levels in the organization both internally and externally team members, and proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with strong skills in excel.
• Self- motivated individual with high level of initiative, flexibility, customer service, and a strong attention to detail.
• Enjoy working in a team environment and understand how your individual work contributes to the overall teamwork.
• SAP knowledge will be advantage.
