Manager, Head of CE Retail Planning & Analysis
About this position
Responsibilities
• Develop strategy on retail business intelligence to ensure completeness and accuracy on retail data collection including data comparing to other external sources such as GFK, retailer POS
• Manage and lead process on retail business intelligence across all CE BUs by store level such as demand, market share, flooring, competitive information
• Generate insights, market sensing and analysis to propose retail performance and Retail Management KPI to ensure smooth execution and sustainable business growth in perspective such as sale performance, sales activity, shop/event implementation, field force management, and training
• Lead analysis to understand status of each retailer and propose improvement action to RM team and Bus via retail data analysis
• Actively engage closely with BU to conduct strategic retail planning by focusing on business direction and retail execution excellency (range, speed to market, POSM implementation) with key measurement
• Coordinate with HQ/RHQ for retail management project for retail KPI and any improvement/project including cascading, deploying, supervising and following-up the progress of cross-functional team
• Manage team to provide and analyst to key stakeholders with accuracy and on time
• Performs other duties as assigned by management /direct supervisor
Requirements
• Master’s degree or higher
• Must have 8 years and above of management experience in all aspects of retail, product management, trade/ channel marketing in related industries or other competitive companies
• Innovative and creative-ability to identify and evaluate creative ideas, focusing on those that will create competitive advantage in retail management such as driving sell out, increase in-store share.
• Great logical and critical thinking to generate insight from data including guiding and coach team on analysis need
• Solid experience in a fast-paced marketing including key accounts and general trade, product management in CE or FMCG sector. Working in retailer before is a plus.
• Mature with strong business acumen and well organized. Self-motivated with high degree of initiative and result-oriented
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under aggressive timelines in dynamic environment with agility to work under strict deadline and develop alternative solutions in compliance with relevant policies and must be very detail-oriented and process driven
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills are essential
• Must be able to travel when required
• Excellent command of English and computer literacy especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
