Assistant Manager, Media Planning Strategy
About this position
The Assistant Manager, Media Planning Strategy is responsible for acting as a media expert with a key focus on offline media, devising strategies for media plans, and overseeing all planning and buying to achieve maximum ROI.
Responsibilities
• Act as media expertise both offline & online with key focus on offline media (MX)
• Devises strategies for media plans and oversees all planning and buying
• Execute and operate media in order to achieve maximum Return on Investment (ROI)
• Understand bidding and optimizing for ads campaign to meet objective. (Retargeting, Lead Generation, Reach, CTR.)
• Evaluate the performance of initiatives and provide reviews of campaigns and trends using online and offline outlets
• Evaluate the success of media strategies and campaigns
• Analyze and evaluate keywords and web traffic to improve the performance of search marketing and other digital media and make recommendations to improve conversions
• Collect and process raw data to get some core insights on user behavior, needs, trends, habits, etc. in the digital channels
• Account management and monitoring campaign delivery results and KPI
• Provide analyze reporting to present with clients to review campaign performance
• Develop and manage data analysis reports to summarize and forecast business
• Be proactive and propose solutions to correct run rates and improve ROI
• Performs other duties as assigned by management /direct supervisor
• Establish and create awareness for Samsung brand campaigns in the online and offline spaces for the purpose of demand generations driven (with key focus on media)
• Responsible for ad hoc projects across other areas of Corporate Marketing team as needed usually arise in this fast pace business manner
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in MBA, Marketing, Mass Communication or other related fields
• Minimum 7+ years working experience in media planning, digital media planning & analysis and search marketing more experience will be considered as a senior position
• Experience in Search Engine Marketing and account management is preferable
• Passion for Mobile application, Search Engine Marketing the Customer and Analytics
• Good knowledge or experience in SEM or biddable is an advantage
• Passion for delivering results and driving internal and external customer success
• Be a good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent command of English both written and spoken with computer literacy
• Strong interested in electronic products and mobile devices
