Assistant Manager, Marketing
About this position
The Assistant Manager, Marketing will work closely with business leaders and product managers to develop and execute marketing strategies and plans, manage event marketing initiatives, and ensure alignment across communication channels.
Responsibilities
• Works closely with the business leaders & product managers in regional HQ and sales subsidiaries to develop business plan (including short and long-range marketing strategy and launch plans) and conduct it.
• Manage and share key message with key stakeholders to ensure alignment all communication channels and materials
• Responsible for overall Event Marketing Management
• Handle execution of event marketing initiatives and coordinate with Event Marketing agencies and related third parties
• Manage and coordinate any outside agencies & vendors
• Record, track and follow the budget. If new opportunities arise, or unseen expenses are incurred then a revised budget should be proposed for possible adoption
• Able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing high visibility tasks and deadlines
• Conduct analysis and periodical reviews of the brand, competitive, category, customer and consumer trends to enhance the brand’s equity and marketplace performance.
• Collaborate with marketing department of global and regional HQ to identify research objectives, information requirements, and scope for market research support. Also responsible to provide research stimulus materials i.e. concept board, STB & script, animatic
• Ensure brand strategies for the brand that aligns with global business plan.
• Gather result and evaluating by using proper measurement and report to relevant parties for future portfolio and brand development
• Performs other duties as assigned by management /direct supervisor
• Are willing to travel up to 30% of time within South East Asia & Oceania and to Head Quarter in South Korea
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is required
• Minimum 5 years of experience to handle brand management, providing communications support
• Background experiences in marketing communication and mid-to-high scale event and budget management is preferable
• Work well under high pressure and timeline constrained
• Mature, energetic, hands-on, dedicated, trust-worthy with result-driven
• Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines, multi-tasking and manage projects independently.
• Excellent people skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
