About this position

Sampoerna Academy is seeking an IBDP & AS/A Level English Teacher for the academic year 25/26, who will contribute to a student-centered learning environment that emphasizes critical thinking, communication, and STEAM methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set, and deliver standards for learning.
• Prepare and support critical thinking for students in the classroom.
• Establish classroom management utilizing positive coaching.
• Observe and evaluate student's performance and development.
• Understanding of academic, social, and behavioral needs and characteristics of high-level students.
• Establish links with the parent community to ensure that parents are kept well informed about student progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in English Literature or English Language.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience.
• High level of English proficiency required.
• Experienced in teaching English as First Language.
• Experienced in teaching IB Diploma Program Language A, TOK.
