Aerospace We specialize in the precision machining of niche aerospace products of complex geometry from aluminum alloys to hard & tough materials such as stainless steel, titanium, and nickel-based alloys. Our products are being used in narrow and wide-body aircraft, and regional and business jets.

About this position

Reporting to the Group Legal Manager, the successful candidate shall be responsible for the routine and administrative duty for the SAM Group. He/She is expected to provide support on the administration of legal matters which includes reviewing & drafting of contracts, filing and maintenance of records for legal matters, contracts and databases. He/She will have opportunities to grow in areas of corporate governance matters, internal reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, integration and implementation of policy initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Group Legal Manager in the day-to-day responsibilities;
• Assist with the review and drafting of contracts and relevant documentation (i.e Non-Disclosure Agreements, Purchase Agreements, Long Term Agreement, etc;
• Manage and monitor service levels of external service provider(s) such as the corporate secretarial services and legal firms;
• Assist to monitor and ensure compliance with current corporate governance requirements in Singapore and Malaysia;
• Maintain file records of legal matters such as contracts and databases;
• Researching and presenting legal information to the Group Legal Manager;
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in law with at least 2 years experience working as a paralegal in a legal firm or at least 2 years experience working in-house with similar job responsibilities;
• SAICSA graduates with corporate governance background will be welcome.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills;
• Good administrative and organization skills, systematic and consistently manages and meets timelines;
• Attention to detail and have the initiative to follow-up and see tasks through to completion;
• A team player and able to co-ordinate and manage different stakeholders;
• Able to work independently;
• Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Outlook software applications;
• Proactive in providing feedback and suggestions for more efficient workflow processes.
