About this position

The Technical Sales position focuses on achieving sales goals in the Waterproof, Roofing, Flooring, and Concrete Repair sectors, requiring strong customer relationship management and technical support skills.

Responsibilities

• achieve sales goals.
• responsibility and accountability include Main contractors, Consultants, Specifiers, and Applicators for overall agreed sales targets.
• manage overall assigned customers/territories regarding sales development, technical support, and strengthening customer relationships.
• grow business by obtaining new and existing customers. Actively promote Construction Chemical products (Waterproof, Roofing, Flooring, and Concrete repair) to optimize business opportunities and build up barriers to competitor’s entry.
• Co-implement sales plan/strategy/activities to achieve the target budget for assigned customers/territories and prospective customers.
• Secure business opportunities by identifying customer needs in terms of product application.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships to increase product awareness to customers and ensure customers continue to support SG solutions.
• Developing and maintaining product knowledge to effectively promote SG Solutions.
• Provide initial technical advice to customers with the support of a responsible technical person to introduce and promote products.
• Develop and maintain selling skills, technical skills, presentation skills, negotiation skills, and understanding company policy, and procedures in conducting business.
• Collect data and market movement to establish a database to obtain, update, maintain, and evaluate market trends, the application of products/ technology, and service needs to support identifying new business opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry trends that could affect targets, technical development, market activities, and industry segmentation to help define the marketability of products and report to the Manager.
• To know the strategies of the competitors, analyze and provide feedback to the company to develop actions to counteract where necessary.
• Provide timely reports to Manager/team members.

Requirements

• 5 -years of project sales experience in construction or related business of various sales channels.
• knowledge of SG Solutions, Construction Chemical industry.
