About this position
Responsibilities
• Strong legal, analytical, drafting, and advising on any commercial contracts related to the company's businesses, such as, joint venture agreement, lease agreement and other corporate agreements in both Thai and English.
• Participate in meetings and provide legal advice to continue legal jobs with flexibility and effectiveness to the extent of laws.
• Monitoring and drafting legal documents to place the contract pattern as guidelines and maximize the company’s benefits.
• Coordinate with internal legal team and external lawyers to ensure company-wide compliance with legal regulations and pursuant to the company's direction and/or strategies.
• Provide legal insights and perspectives to the team, contributing to developing and enhancing the business plan related to legal issues.
• Complete all necessary steps to align the company with compliance requirements, including but not limited to preparing information, completing regulatory forms, and arranging meetings with regulators.
• Having awareness of legal, commercial risks and the ability to balance such risks against business benefits with appropriate mitigation measures.
• Tracking new related laws/ regulations and staying up-to-date on any changes to provide legal advices on digital assets, online business operation and other relevant businesses of the company in compliance with such laws/regulations.
• Assess and interpret the potential impact of applicable financial regulations and rules on online business and product development, including ensure compliance with local laws, rules, regulations, and standards.
• Provide comprehensive regulatory compliance advice to the business on all compliance matters relevant to the licensed entity.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Law with a Lawyer’s license.
• At least 3-5 years' experience working in Legal function, experiences in financial services or law firm are advantaged.
• Experiences and capable of drafting and reviewing legal documents in English and Thai are a must.
• Excellent command of English and Thai.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment, with excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task.
• Proactive, service-minded, business-oriented, and innovative, with great interpersonal skills and team player mindset.
• Ability to convey legal concepts and insights clearly and understandably to non-legal colleagues including business communication and win-win negotiation skills.
• In-depth understanding of relevant industry laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with legal frameworks and requirements for the company's operations.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing legal and regulatory landscapes.
