Supply Chain Manager
About this position
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing the Planning, Warehouse, and Procurement departments to meet operational needs and company targets while optimizing resources and controlling costs.
Responsibilities
• Manage the departments of Planning, Warehouse and Procurement, under the site Supply Chain Management, in direct connection with Electrical Inserts Thailand operational need
• Provide directions to the departments in his/her scope of responsibility in order to meet or exceed company targets, as a minimum by optimizing the use of the company's resources and providing the required level of customer service while controlling costs
• Sponsor the ERP development activities of supply chain, in alignment with the site ERP development activities
• Run the Sales & Operations Plan as part of the Division activity
• Provide overall Project Management to implement strategic projects within the scope of responsibility
• Take responsibility for realizing targets and objectives for the organization, as detailed out in the Annual Plans and Budgets
• Coordinate the analysis and mitigation of risks linked to the deployment of the company strategies, or any arising risk expressed under his/her scope of responsibility
• Control the adequacy of his/her organization spends in relation to business forecast and allocated budgets
• Escalate any issue/decision requiring involvement of his/her management
• Perform continuous verification, justification and qualification of his/her team provided output
• Facilitate the implementation of and use of group Standards as required pertaining to his/her scope of responsibility
• Ensure his/her departments follow strictly the company Health, Safety and Environmental rules, participate in 5S+1, QRQC and Lean-Sigma events, enforce AS9100 requirements, and comply with Human Resources rules.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain, engineering or related field experience
• At least 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain management position, preferably in aerospace industry.
• Excellent command of English, as main communication language with the company sales organization worldwide, and with the supply base under his/her responsibility
• Knowledge/Skills: Microsoft Office applications, Infor ERP, Cyber query, strong negotiations & decision taking skills, project management leadership; taking initiatives, prioritization.
