Supply Chain Manager
About this position
The Supply Chain Manager manages the entire Supply Value Stream activities and drive the related performance (Quality, Costs, and Delivery) of Electrical Insert Thailand; playing a key role in the company's bottom line.
Responsibilities
• Manage the departments of Planning, Warehouse and Procurement, under the site Supply Chain Management, in direct connection with Electrical Inserts Thailand operational need.
• Provide directions to the departments in his/her scope of responsibility in order to meet or exceed company targets, as a minimum by optimizing the use of the company's resources and providing the required level of customer service while controlling costs.
• Sponsor the ERP development activities of supply chain, in alignment with the site ERP development activities.
• Run the Sales & Operations Plan as part of the Division activity.
• Provide overall Project Management to implement strategic projects within the scope of responsibility.
• Take responsibility for realizing targets and objectives for the organization, as detailed out in the Annual Plans and Budgets.
• Coordinate the analysis and mitigation of risks linked to the deployment of the company strategies, or any arising risk expressed under his/her scope of responsibility.
• Control the adequacy of his/her organization spends in relation to business forecast and allocated budgets.
• Escalate any issue/decision requiring involvement of his/her management.
• Perform continuous verification, justification and qualification of his/her team provided output.
• Facilitate the implementation of and use of group Standards as required pertaining to his/her scope of responsibility.
• Ensure his/her departments follow strictly the company Health, Safety and Environmental rules, participate in 5S+1, QRQC and Lean-Sigma events, enforce AS9100 requirements, and comply with Human Resources rules.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain, engineering or related field experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain management position, preferably in aerospace industry.
• Excellent command of English, as main communication language with the company sales organization worldwide, and with the supply base under his/her responsibility.
• Knowledge/Skills: Microsoft Office applications, Infor ERP, Cyberquery, strong negotiations & decision taking skills, project management leadership; taking initiatives, priorization.
