Manufacturing Engineer/Process Engineer
About this position
The Manufacturing Engineer/Process Engineer will interface with project engineers, ensure manufacturing feasibility, and support new product implementation while adhering to customer requirements and company standards.
Responsibilities
• Interface with the project engineer regarding follow-up of the product conception.
• Ensure manufacturing feasibility, participate to product FMEA.
• Coordinates Engineering Changes and new items in the shop floor process.
• Support the Project team by new product implementation analysis (equipment, tool, capacity…).
• Ensure that all customer requirements (specification, dimension, drawing notes, etc.) are understood and taken into account in the Engineering pilot process and industrialization process.
• Get support from relevant technology experts or support functions.
• Define/updated cycle time in line with tact time and standard operations.
• Integrate ergonomics principles in process design.
• Issue/updated process flowcharts.
• Creating / Reviewing / Updating BOM of new item using ERP LN and MCP application.
• Release manufacturing process documents.
• Define investments list and resources needs.
• Define/review production equipment/Tools/Jig & Fixture specifications.
• Ensures equipment delivery and installation in the plant.
• Conduct equipment reception process.
• Capitalize on lessons learned and provide best practices.
• Ensure that the strict application of the company standards (Quality System, EH&S, HR…) is aligned with production area.
• Carry out process productivity analysis.
• Implement improvements action plans.
• Coordinate cross functional team problem solving or improvement activities.
• Supports the organization in solving technical issues and quality claims both of FAI Lot and production Lot for sheet metal and sub-assembly of parts.
• Supports the organization to achieve its Quality, Costs, Delivery targets during repeat orders.
• Ensure the tools, jig/fixture, equipment, machines and facilities are available with the control effectiveness.
• Work with maintenance department to recovering equipment, machines and facilities.
• Arranging specialist procurement for recovering of tools, jig/fixture, equipment or components.
Requirements
• Completed education of not below Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering or any related field.
• 1 to 3 years of related experience in a minimum.
• Team player with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Having technical skills or knowledge related to Electrical parts manufacturing.
• Having basic knowledge of CATIA and/or SOLID WORKS.
• Good English communication skills to enable efficient communication with foreign customers and Project team and understand technical documentation.
• Knowledge of data processing and MS office in intermediate level.
• Knowledge of BANN, LN6 ERP system in intermediate level.
• Having basic knowledge of Metallurgy.
