Maintenance Engineer
About this position
Responsibilities
•Implement preventive and predictive maintenance procedures to reduce unexpected breakdowns and enhance equipment performance.
•Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures and breakdowns, demonstrating expertise in resolving industrial equipment issues to minimize downtime.
•Provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians.
•Perform necessary mechanical repairs and overhauls, including disassembly, part replacement, and reassembly.
•Utilize appropriate tools, techniques, and safety precautions during maintenance activities.
•Collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve optimal equipment reliability and availability.
•Support the Reliability Team with general assistance.
•Work with Senior Maintenance to assign daily tasks to team leaders.
•Define and verify technical requirements related to electrical and electronic systems.
•Inspect and confirm the quality of work, materials, and measures.
•Utilize data driven insights to optimize maintenance strategies and reduce lifecycle costs.
•Promote best practices and facilitate initiatives that foster a culture of continuous improvement.
•Regularly review and assess maintenance processes and methodologies for improvement.
•Analyze maintenance expenditures and trends to identify cost saving alternatives without compromising equipment reliability or safety.
•Develop and implement cost effective maintenance strategies, such as managing spare parts inventory and improving maintenance scheduling.
•Execute Industry 4.0 projects within specified timelines.
•Research and implement technologies to improve productivity, safety, cost efficiency, and on time delivery targets.
•Provide guidance and mentorship to maintenance teams, fostering skill development and career growth.
•Participate in recruiting and onboarding maintenance professionals, contributing to talent acquisition efforts.
•Conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback to team members.
•Create an environment focused on continuous learning and improvement, encouraging close knit collaboration.
•Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with coworkers and management at all levels.
•Operate within Nature Works policies, procedures, and governmental regulations, actively participating in and championing Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Programs.
•Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate EH&S considerations into design and development processes.
•Ensure EH&S Programs are followed, providing a safe working environment for employees and customers.
•Conduct risk assessments related to electrical and fire alarm devices.
•Perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance of building facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
•Conduct regular inspections of all facilities and equipment to identify and address potential issues before they result in costly repairs.
Requirements
•Complete education of not below bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
•Excellent social skills.
•Thai native. Fluent in English both verb.
