About this position

The Chemical Plant Supervisor / Manager is responsible for managing and controlling the chemical production plant to ensure production targets are met while supervising staff and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control chemical production plant to ensure the production are available and meet the target.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of chemical operators and relevant parties.
• Train and mentor new/current chemical plant staff.
• Ensure the quality of chemical products meets the required standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and order of raw material and supplies needed for production process.
• Develop and implement procedures for efficient operation of chemical plant.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentations of all chemical production activity.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of bachelor degree in Chemistry or related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in chemical manufacturing or equivalent industry.
• Having a good knowledge of chemical production process and equipment.
• Strong leadership and management skill.
• Very good English communication and interpersonal skill.
• Familiar with regulatory compliance and safety standard.
• Proficiency in computer software program and chemical software tracking system.
