Solutions Architect
About this position
Responsibilities
• Work with Sales / Business development teams to explore/identify and qualify business opportunities, win key projects, build reference sites, identify key customer technical objections and convert prospects to customers.
• Responsible for Presales routines such as but not limited to
• Understand the real requirement from customer / partner
• Design and present proposed solutions
• Demo & POC to showcase solutions highlight
• Create the most suitable BOM & SOW
• Provide best fit technical content for bidding / tender process to meet customer requirements
• Subject matter expert / Technical consultant
• Responsible to analyze competitor products and solutions in the market to improve the winning rate of the project.
• Responsible for partner enablement, technical support to partners (training and key project support with guidance).
• Responsible to promote solutions/product content & value effectively in marketing activities or events.
• Work closely with the product/solutions/technical team to DEMO and perform POC for customers and partners.
• Work closely with product/solutions/technical team for solution Demo/POC planning/improvement.
• Work closely as a team with the market development manager and local team to win key projects via Ruijie's products/solutions.
• Assist communicating customer/markets' demand/requirement with solutions/product/R&D teams to plan, develop and launch competitive and best fit industry products/solutions for the local market.
• Assist for vertical market solution tool development (e.g. solution PPT, Words, datasheet or Whitepaper).
Requirements
• At least 3 years of professional experience of PreSales/Solutions Architecture in Enterprise industries such as public/private sector (education, government, healthcare) or medium and large enterprise or Telecom operator/ISP/MSP. Has good product knowledge and business sense in related industry.
• Cisco/HPE/Aruba/Ruckus/Huawei/H3C enterprise grade product/solutions experience or relevant experience is preferable.
• Possess products and solutions innovative thinking and good market business sensitivity.
• Good network technology experience and skills. (Holding CCIE, CCNP, RCNP/RSE or similar certificate is a plus)
• Ability and experience in network planning and design to complete POC configuration, demonstration of products/solutions value and assist partner/customer to succeed or solve their real challenges or meet their requirements (Has postsales/technical engineer or similar experience is a plus).
• Passionate about improving product/solutions via market research, insight, analysis and feedback of market/customer needs.
• A good team player with good communication, coordination and solutions/value creation selling skills.
• Able to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skill
• Excellent written and spoken English is a plus
