About this position
Responsibilities
• Delivers consulting project activities, including client identification through final invoicing.
• Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment.
• Project management activities include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring.
• Financial responsibilities include project cost estimating, proposal generation, and invoicing.
• May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities.
• Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization.
• Viewed by customers as a consultant and performance is typically measured by delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours.
Requirements
• 'Hands-on' experience in assessing, designing, and deploying network infrastructure in environments including process automation, discrete controls, and automated manufacturing processes/equipment.
• Experience in designing and deploying network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.) within an Industrial Network.
• Understanding of various industry standards including ISA, ANSI, NEMA, NERC, IDC, NEC and NIST standards. Specific focus on NIST 800-82, NERC-CIP, IEC-62443 Standards would be an added benefit.
• Converged operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) skills that are applicable across industrial security related activities for control applications and networks.
• Direct application of secure network practices, Industrial De-Militarized Zone (IDMZ) Architectures, and their deployment related to the controls environment will be added benefit.
• Solid technical skills with EtherNet/IP and other various industrial Ethernet enabled protocols that provide specialized capabilities in assessing, designing and implementing complex systems with industrial security considerations at the forefront of each activity.
• Ability to deploy a variety of security and/or networking concepts, practices, and procedures, to include manufacturing and enterprise network convergence via secure methods, secure communication optimization, remote access development / deployment, and application effects on system performance within the manufacturing network.
• Experience in developing and deploying solutions in a virtual environment.
• Capacity to write detailed documentation.
