About this position

The Strategic Project Specialist will oversee the strategy, development, and execution of programs related to HIV and HPV diagnostic testing, requiring a deep understanding of public health, diagnostics, and policy-making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational execution of HIV and HPV diagnostic services, ensuring optimal quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for testing services, ensuring consistent monitoring and evaluation of impact
• Build and maintain partnerships with government bodies, healthcare institutions, international agencies, and community organizations to promote the availability and uptake of HIV and HPV testing
• Advocate for policies that improve access to and affordability of diagnostic services
• Work closely with market access, marketing, commercial, and outreach teams to drive testing volume
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory standards for diagnostics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Public Health, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MPH, MBA, Ph.D.) preferred
• Project management experience or skills are preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in public health, diagnostics, or healthcare services, specifically focusing on HIV/HPV testing or related areas
• Proven experience in strategic leadership and program management within the healthcare or diagnostics sector
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, including collaboration with governments, NGOs, and global health organizations
