About this position
Responsibilities
• Responsible, under the quality manager, for running the IQC, IPQC, FGQC, process rejects, SPPAP, supplier audits, supplier rejects, supplier monitoring & improvements, reject inventory reduction, measuring equipment calibration, MSA (GR&R), CTQ/Cpk studies & document control processes.
• Also responsible for implementing assigned quality projects, internal audits & creating quality performance reports.

• Supervising & developing the QC team.
• Creating / updating incoming quality plans & checksheets, monitoring the IQC team perform checks to agreed standards in a timely manner.
• Creating / updating in-process & finished goods quality plans & checksheets, monitoring the QC team perform in-process checks to agreed standards in a timely manner.
• Verifying and analysing process rejects to determine if a supplier or process problem.
• Creating NCR’s (process problems) and ensuring appropriate containment, corrective and improvement action is taken following the 8D process.
• Obtaining, reviewing and approving SPPAP packages from suppliers.
• Creating a supplier audit plan, performing supplier audits and following up supplier improvements.
• Creating SCARs (supplier problems) and ensuring appropriate containment, corrective and improvement action is taken following the 8D process.
• Creating SR supplier returns and pushing suppliers for credit / replacements.
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree or higher.
• Experience with using measuring equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, profile projectors, CMM, thread & plug gauges and testers.
• Experience in reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience in a medium-high volume manufacturing environment with metal fabricated parts to ISO/TS quality standards.
• Experience with using core quality tools to investigate, improve and report issues.
• Experience in a customer facing role and dealing with customer issues.
• Good eyesight.
• English is required.
• High accuracy and repeatability of work standard.
