About this position

The Lean Manufacturing Engineer will drive and coordinate value stream teams to implement and support Bosch Production System (BPS) methodologies, ensuring continuous improvement and employee competence in the responsible value stream.

Responsibilities

• Drive/coordinate value stream team for the BPS relevance topics in responsible value stream such as drive the System CIP project (Continuous Improvement Process) & Point CIP (Continuous Improvement Process), DLR, update and evaluate the My Measure
• As BPS expert/specialist role to drive/support/provide the expert view for implement the BPS methods in responsible value stream (such as Kanban system, Pull & Leveling system, Supermarket concept, ProCon, and other BPS tools)
• Deploy the BPS strategy (Bosch Production System), roll out plan, new requirements for HmjP plant (e.g. BPS GO!, BPS assessment) and exchange information to PS/BPS
• Be a BPS trainer (Bosch Production System) or coach to develop BPS knowledge and ensure the employee's competence fulfill the BPS qualifications (Bosch Production System)
• Plan/Lead/Execute the BPS Cross (Bosch Production System)/Plant assessment to evaluate the BPS maturity level in HmjP
• Plan, organize and moderate the BPS System (Bosch Production System) CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) workshop according to annual plan and ensure the System CIP projects (Continuous Improvement Process) and PDCA are follow up regularly
• Coaches Production Managers and VS leaders to apply BPS system (Bosch Production System)

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master in Engineering or relevant fields.
• Proficiently in English communication and presentation
• Experienced in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, A3 approach logic, experience in TPS will be advantages
• Have knowledge of Value Stream Map/Design (VSM/VSD), manufacturing and logistics process flow
• Able to moderate/coordinate the continuous improvement activity, able to influence value stream team to fulfill BPS requirements
• Strong leadership, proactive, initiative, able to work independently, logical thinking, entrepreneur and growth mindset

BPS Basic Training
Leading in a BPS Plant for Directors and Managers and Planners, M1
Lean Logistic Basics Consumption Control and Leveling
Working according to Standards for Shop-floor Leader-B
Working according Standards for Operators-B
