About this position

RINA is seeking an Energy Project Engineer to join its Jakarta office, focusing on the Energy sector. The ideal candidate is an Indonesian Engineer with a strong engineering background, preferably in HSE and/or process fields, and possesses good communication skills and knowledge of the Indonesian Energy market.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work on multiple projects and proposals, mainly in the following tasks:
• Technical support in proposals’ preparation:
• support the Proposal Manager in the technical development of the bid in accordance with customer requirements and tender instructions;
• participating in technical review meetings
• interfacing with technical owners to ensure usable content is created
• draft the technical proposal and support the Proposal Manager to ensure submitting of final proposal
• provide technical support in bid closure
• Project execution
• provide technical support to the Project Manager / Engineering Manager in Job Planning (initial planning, schedule preparation and sharing with team and customer, progress monitoring and reporting)
• support the Project Manager / Engineering Manager in ensuring that design is carried out in accordance with contractual codes and standards
• interface with, coordinate with, and distribute jobs to the discipline leads / technicians and the subcontractors, aimed at supporting and monitoring the activities carried out
• contribute to and coordinate the technical tasks
• attendance to periodical meetings with Customer (reporting, MOM preparation, follow up of action list, etc.)
• Handle customer technical queries on daily basis
The main focus and sector in which the Candidate will work are those of Oil & Gas solutions, decarbonization / energy transition / low-carbon solutions (with specific emphasis on Renewables, hydrogen, and CCUS systems).

Requirements

Minimum Position Requirements:
• Master Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical OR Chemical (Process) Engineering)
• Ideally with 5 to 8 years working experience in a structured Engineering Consulting Team (EPC, Engineering)
• Familiarity with Decarbonization / Energy Transition / Low-carbon gases is a plus
• Proficiency in PC use (MS Office, Programming Languages)
• Fluent
