About this position

The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the financial health of an organization, providing financial analysis and recommendations to senior management, and ensuring compliance with financial laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the financial health of an organization to promote success and growth while maintaining legal financial practices.
• Overseeing end-to-end finance operations, finance planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliation.
• Duties typically include financial planning to determine how to pay off liabilities and grow the business, reviewing financial documents to ensure tax-compliance and collaboration with other departments to achieve monetary goals.
• Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making processes, business strategies, and financial.
• Advising an organization on how to increase profit through prudent financial practices and monitoring and enforcing compliance with finance-related laws, procedures, and regulations such as tax filing and financial reporting.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management and reporting, and implement appropriate changes to enhance financial performance and compliance.
• Work with Legal Team to ensure overall coordination of all financial accounting activities through annual report.
• Making improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc task assigned by management team.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 or more years’ previous work experience in another financial role.
• Have experience with accounting software, statistical analysis tools and other industry-specific prediction applications.
• Good understanding of accounting concepts, financial reporting standards and best practices.
• Proven knowledge of financial analysis and strategy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and industry legislation.
• Analytical skills, Interpersonal skills, Negotiation skills and Attention to detail.
• Good command of English (Speaking and Writing).
• Advance in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel and reporting
• Good team player, possess strong organization and communication skills, and proactive management.
