Assistant Manager (Sustainability/ ESG)
About this position
The Assistant Manager (Sustainability/ ESG) is responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies and policies related to Environment Social Governance (ESG) in alignment with business goals.
Responsibilities
• Set year plan, implement effective strategic & development plan of Environment Social Governance (ESG) to correspond with business goal and direction.
• Set and implement Environment Social Governance (ESG) policies and processes.
• Prepare reports and presentations for Board of Directors, management teams, and external parties as required.
• Communicate ESG risk management and strategy initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage the annual stakeholder engagement to be align with Environment Social Governance (ESG)
• Evaluate and do the surveys to ensure Group of Company are in the Environment Social Governance (ESG) Standards.
• Prepare action plan including setting relevant goals of ESG.
• Review, revise and develop ESG policies and related policies that are applicable to the business operations and align with global trend and standard.
• Coordinate, follow up, provide advice to various department units to develop sustainability initiatives, sustainability performance.
• Execute annual sustainability assessment, sustainability reporting and disclosures aligning with relevant sustainability reporting standards.
• Manage ESG data collection, analysis and compile annual Sustainability Report according to relevant standards and guidelines.
• Coordinate with related business functions to fulfill questionnaires and prepare supporting materials for related assessments and certifications.
• Gather information and develop sustainability report, presentations, knowledge center for both internal and external stakeholders, including public disclosure.
• Manage diverse sustainability projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope.
• Raise awareness of sustainability, provide knowledge, guidance, and support to all business units within RCL.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3 years’ experience in sustainability/ ESG-related topics.
• Background in implementing sustainability projects.
• Proficiency in sustainability reports and carbon footprint programs and Green house project.
• Strong project management skills.
• Good command of English and Proficiency in MS Office especially in Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
