About this position

The Supply Chain Assistant Manager / Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations, developing strategies, analyzing performance, and leading a team to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies and processes that align with the Company's goals and objectives.
• Analyze supply chain data and performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
• Monitor and forecast demand to maintain optimal inventory levels and reduce stockouts or overstock situations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms and improve supply chain reliability.
• Oversee logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing, to enhance fulfillment efficiency and minimize costs.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve department and company goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, ideally within retail and jewelry business.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the capability to work effectively with suppliers and across all levels of the organization.
• Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset, capable of leading change and driving supply chain excellence.
• Experience in ERP will be an advantage.
