About this position

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our AI-powered SaaS platform, working closely with development, product, and customer success teams. This role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, a passion for quality, and the ability to mentor and guide junior QA engineers.

Responsibilities

● Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for our SaaS platform.
● Design and execute automated tests using appropriate frameworks and tools.
● Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
● Identify, report, and track defects through resolution.
● Collaborate with developers to reproduce and analyze defects, ensuring thorough root cause analysis.
● Contribute to the improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.
● Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical expertise and support.
● Stay up-to-date with the latest QA technologies and best practices.
● Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product releases.
● Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
● Analyze requirements and specifications to identify potential quality issues early in the development lifecycle.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
● 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
● Extensive experience in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
● Proficiency in various testing methodologies.
● Experience with API testing and performance testing tools.
● Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills.
● Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members.
● Experience testing web applications and ideally SaaS platforms.
● Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
