About this position

Quality Assurance Team Member responsible for providing policies and procedures for product verification through inspection activities, developing training documents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate completion of production and quality documentation.
• Guide the inspection team through the provision of instructions to ensure departmental/site performance targets are met. This includes primary operational targets such as safety, quality, delivery, and productivity/efficiency.
• Review team performance via daily accountability, efficiency and production meetings supporting the quality manager in order to identify areas for improvement and encourage progress.
• Ensure identification and segregation of non-conforming product to prevent from unintended used.
• Develop training documents and facilitate training; assist in troubleshooting quality issues.
• Support Material Review Board activities and assist in problem investigations using appropriate tools such as 5-why, fishbone and 8D reporting.
• Read and interpret industry drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and applicable paperwork.
• Maintain, monitor, measure equipment, and define processes to support company calibration/verification.
• SNCR & MRB Review meeting with supply chain and prepare presentations for supplier meetings.
• Review and update inspectors performance in line with Inspection Skill Matrix.
• Review and update Annual leave plan for the Inspector.
• Review Receipt test monitoring result.
• Review paint periodic test results and summary report.
• Review Adhesion test report for paint record and prepare paint monthly test for sent out to Element.
• Prepare scrap route card and paint record and send to data save.
• Clear Quarantine /Scrap part.
• Support Shipment CoC, ensure shipment parts are not pending NCR closure on HQMS, and ensure the Concession number on CoC is correct.
• Issue CNCR and SNCR on HQMS (Quality NC database)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Have 3+ years of Experience in Quality Control/ Quality Engineering.
• Moderate understanding of Geometric Dimension and Tolerance.
• Able to read and interpret basic blueprints/change documents and specifications.
• Knowledge of bench inspection, quality tools and processes.
• Ability to operate computerized equipment is required.
