About this position

The Sourcing Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop business relationship with all existing suppliers worldwide to serve customer requirement in many regions; ( for all products ).
• Negotiate price and all commercial conditions with suppliers to support sales team / and meet customer satisfaction to proceed shipment.
• Strengthen relationship to all suppliers.
• Handle daily operation issues ; commercial movement, logistics, payment, documentation and collaborate with other teams in a company to solve problems and proceed transactions as agreed with customer.
• Identify new business opportunities to match sales requirement ; for all polymers or other products.
• Prepare sourcing plan ( co-working in line to sales plan ) and input in Anaplan system.
• Analyse market and geopolitics situation in each region and study on impact to GC business , then share such information to MG-IS team for further discussion.
• Collaborate with other sales team in both MSG and MSI to match customer requirement ; products and commercial conditions to initiate business.
• Collaborate with technical team to solve handle any technical complaint case and solve problems to meet customers satisfaction.
• Follow and keep update trade regulations and rules to be impacted to all trading business to all destinations we have developed business.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Petrochemical, Polymer, Engineering, Business, Marketing or equivalent in relevant fields.
• Experience : At least 3-5 year working experience in related industry.
