Procurement Analyst
About this position
The Procurement Analyst is responsible for supporting the development of procurement strategies, conducting data analysis, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with contracts.
Responsibilities
• Gather and summarize information to support in development of procurement action plan or strategy
• Gather data and conduct analysis on internal factors such as spend and customer requirements, as well as external such as industry and market dynamics, and products/services trends
• Coordinate and communicate with suppliers/contractors to participate in sourcing/procurement activities.
• Complete procurement/sourcing activities according to plan/users' requirements and look for opportunities to automate procurement.
• Analyze and provide sourcing summary regarding to feedback from internal customer for continuous improvement.
• Analyze, screen and provide scenario analysis regarding to final suppliers/contractors' selections and Perform fact-based negotiation with suppliers
• Manage and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers
• Develop contracts/agreements in effective condition. Provided contract deviation list and co-ordinate to related parties to review contracts/agreements.
• Manage and monitor the contract compliance with user and supplier/contractor
• Provide advice/recommendation according to practices, procedures, manuals, guidelines and policy to related parties
• Create related documents/catalogs/vendor lists include contracts in system together with analyze, prepare and present analytical reports and address issues
• Review and analyze existing processes, procedures, standards and technology and provide options for improvement
• Other job assignment
Requirements
• Bachelor/master's degree in engineering, Science, Business Administration, or other relevant fields (Engineering background is preferable)
• 0-5 years in procurement or related fields.
• Good in English both verbal and written.
