Process Technology Engineer
About this position
Responsibilities
• Provide utilities (Steam, Water, Hydrogen, Fuel gas and Industrial gas) technical support and consultancy for GPC/BU in area of utility improvement to achieve the target on energy efficiency and reliability including new project, plant technical troubleshooting and technical service provisioning
• Technical advisor
• Technical evaluation on technology
• Develop process conceptual design for Central Business Development and plant
• Develop preliminary feasibility study
• Work with plant owner and plant engineering team to propose for budget approval, PIC, VAC, PIM and CIM process
• Project execution teams to support company growth
• Seek for new opportunity and new process technology or digital tools to improve and enhance the existing asset value/new expanded business to uplift the company revenue or cost saving in area of utilities
• Technical evaluation, technology selection and technology feasibility study
• Develop process conceptual design
• Oversee utilities reliable source supply for existing and new GC facilities including JV facilities
• Oversee operating condition of utilities usage/supply/purchase in GC group and as per sale/purchase contract agreement
• Sourcing the appropriated source with suitable reliability
• Perform annual technical process assessment of utilities supplier, Gap finding and recommend the countermeasure of technical process
• Plant incident investigation / BCP / Crisis exercise team member
• Mitigation plan when utilities shortage or supplier project delay
• Support conceptual for long term sustainability
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Process Engineer experience at least 2 years
• Prefer responsibility in Utilities area
• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Technical experience, manufacturing or engineering experience 2-5 years
