About this position

The External Relations Officer is responsible for managing relationships with government agencies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating the application and renewal of necessary licenses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare related documents, apply and renew permission license according to Law and Government Regulations for main government agencies i.e. Department of Industrial Works, Defense Industry Department and Department of Energy Business
• Contact and coordinate with internal departments (in GC) and government officer to follow up on the progress of applying for a license/renewal
• Report to the supervisor in case there is a problem that affects the request for permission
• Coordinate with government officer on problems that arise and recommend the best solution. Main government agencies i.e. Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Defence, Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, Marine Department, State Railway of Thailand, First Naval Area Command, Local Government (Municipality, Police Station, Government Center), PTT Group
• Keep up with new regulations and laws issued by government agencies that may affect the company
• Maintain good relations with government agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Law will be advantage or relate field.
• Three years of progressively responsible, professional experience in government relations required.
• Regulatory experience in the industry is necessary.
