Head of Merchandise - (Max Mart)
About this position
The Head of Merchandise at Max Mart is responsible for formulating product management policies and strategies to drive sales, managing procurement negotiations, and maintaining relationships with partners to ensure operational goals are met.
Responsibilities
• Formulate product management policies and strategies Purchasing and product sorting to drive sales according to the goals of business units and organizations
• Manage and control negotiations/agreements for the procurement and delivery of products to generate continuous sales growth
• Build, develop and maintain relationships with partners relevant departments both inside and outside the organization including distributors Products (Suppliers) sustainably so that operations meet the set goals.
• Forecast product demand trends in various situations and contexts that may occur to be used in planning product management, product procurement and product sorting appropriately
• Study product products needs of customer groups and competitive conditions to be used in administrative planning Product Purchasing and product sorting to be able to compete with the market and in line with the needs of customers
• Check and control procurement operations, compare and evaluate vendor quality.
• Prepare a report to analyze sales results from implementing product management policies and strategies. Purchasing and Arrange products and apply them, along with presenting appropriate ideas and options.

Requirements
• Bachelor degree or higher in Business Management or related field
• At least 10 years experiences in retail business
• Experience in operation management and Store Management
• Experience in retail business is a must
• Experience in Management, Range Review, Retail Space Optimization and Online to Offline (O2O) sales.
• Experience in Brand Product Development including various technologies related to product management and purchasing
