Director of Compliance

Over 20 years ago, on March 21, 1988, we started as Paktai Chueplerng Company Limited. Our mission was to operate tank farms and distribute gas for the community, the fishing industry and factories, starting from the south of Thailand. Later, the name was changed to PTG Energy Public Company Limited and our business shifted to provide high quality ready-made gas under the brand PT. From two tank farms, Chumporn Tank Farm in Chumporn Province and Mae Klong Tank Farm in Samut Songkhram Province. We expanded our tank farms to eight locations and more than 700 gas stations around the country.

About this position

This role is responsible for supervising the organization's operations to operate in accordance with relevant laws and regulations such as the Bank of Thailand, AMLO, etc., to avoid disputes and legal issues, as well as overseeing compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Responsibilities

Compliance
• Follow up on laws, rules, regulations, announcements, orders that have been announced to amend, reconstitute or cancel that affect the company. In order for the company to comply with the requirements and laws appropriately, continuously and always up-to-date Including considering the impact related to the company
• Continuously review the company's operational activities, develop and improve the process to comply with laws and regulations related to the Company's business operations
• Supervise, give advice and monitor the operations of various agencies in accordance with relevant laws and coordinate with government agencies or related regulatory agencies to supervise internal operations or operate in accordance with that regulation.
• Prepare a work plan and monitor the progress of the plan related to the supervision of compliance with the company's laws and regulations.
• Support the preparation / review of manuals, guidelines, policies, tools for supervision of the company in accordance with relevant laws and regulations to raise the level of compliance with the company's laws and regulations.
• Consider solutions to prevent defects that may cause any damage to the company from relevant laws and regulations.
• Assess risks / and jointly formulate risk management guidelines in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

Qualification
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or related fields
• Minimum 10 years experiences in legal, compliance, audit, risk management or related
• Strong business acumen and understanding of compliance practices
• Ability to interpret legislative requirements and pragmatically review and implement processes and policies
• Have a strong proficiency in using Microsoft office programs, i.e., word, excel, and PowerPoint
• Good communicate in English
• Have passion, energetic, dynamic and able to work under high pressure.
