Vendor Management Staff
About this position
The Vendor Management Staff will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Vendor Management System, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and facilitating the onboarding process for suppliers.
Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain the Vendor Management System, ensuring all vendor information, contracts, and compliance documents are up to date
• Ensure that the VMS aligns with FMCG industry standards and supports rapid procurement needs
• Facilitate the onboarding process for suppliers, ensuring they meet all quality, compliance, and certification requirements specific to the FMCG industry
• Track supplier performance using KPIs, SLAs, and other metrics, with a focus on delivery times, quality standards, and cost efficiency
• Monitor suppliers for compliance with industry regulations (e.g., food safety, environmental standards) and company policies
• Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 1-3 years experience in a related field position
• Prior experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain roles within the FMCG industry
• Hands-on experience with VMS platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, or industry-specific systems)
• Strong understanding of FMCG supply chains, including raw material sourcing, inventory management, and production processes
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Have a positive attitude, energetic, and anti-fraud mindset
