Vendor Management (Mandarin Speaker)
About this position
The Vendor Management position requires a Mandarin speaker to manage and maintain the Vendor Management System, ensuring compliance and efficiency in supplier relationships within the FMCG industry.
Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain the Vendor Management System, ensuring all vendor information, contracts, and compliance documents are up to date
• Ensure that the VMS aligns with FMCG industry standards and supports rapid procurement needs
• Facilitate the onboarding process for suppliers, ensuring they meet all quality, compliance, and certification requirements specific to the FMCG industry
• Track supplier performance using KPIs, SLAs, and other metrics, with a focus on delivery times, quality standards, and cost efficiency
• Monitor suppliers for compliance with industry regulations (e.g., food safety, environmental standards) and company policies
• Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Able to speak mandarin fluently
• Experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain roles within the FMCG industry
• No experience are wellcome
• Hands-on experience with VMS platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, or industry-specific systems)
• Strong understanding of FMCG supply chains, including raw material sourcing, inventory management, and production processes
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Have a positive attitude, energetic, and anti-fraud mindset
