About this position

The Research & Development (R&D) position involves developing new and existing products according to market needs, setting production process standards, collaborating with other departments, and leading the R&D team to foster innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and existing products according to market needs
• Set production process standards in line with Company SOP
• Establish product quality standards
• Collaborate with other departments for effective task implementation
• Source raw materials and information for new product development from vendors/suppliers
• Monitor team performance
• Lead and manage the R&D team, providing guidance, collaboration, and fostering an innovative culture

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (Pharmacist), Food Technology, or Chemistry
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Cosmetics industry
• Understanding of the workflow for developing new and existing products (from raw material selection, product analysis to product marketing)
• Experience and knowledge in formulation development, product analysis, and determining product shelf life
• Strong leadership qualities
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work in teams, individually, with honesty, attention to detail, and good communication skills
• Familiar with costing
• Willing to be placed in Sleman
