Mobile Developer
About this position
The Mobile Developer will design and build iOS and Android applications, ensuring high-quality performance and collaboration with various teams.
Responsibilities
• Design and build iOS and Android applications per company specifications.
• Architect reliable, performant, and scalable mobile applications while developing clean, modular, and reusable code – iterating and deploying rapidly.
• Effectively collaborate with cross-functional, 3rd party, and senior partners to deliver high-quality iOS/Android products, including via code reviews and pairing.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Support code quality maintenance, organization, and automatization.
• Apply agile ways of working to deliver superior product quality, customer satisfaction, project control, risk reduction, and threat mitigation, e.g., via iterative development, estimations, and design sessions.
• Readily learn and apply new concepts, tools, and technologies to job activities and project assignments, as industry advancements demand.
• Document designs and interfaces to facilitate synergetic software development across disciplines and sites.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of iOS/Android application development experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with xCode and Android SDK programming languages.
• Demonstrated proficiency using APIs and 3rd party libraries to enhance application functionality.
• Demonstrated proficiency developing mobile applications utilizing cloud services and an understanding of how design models impact ongoing cloud costs.
• Demonstrated proficiency in source code management, using version control and code deployment across diverse environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in software architecture, including experience with offline data storage, cloud synchronization, and mobile application trends and best practices.
• Thorough understanding of structured analysis, design, programming techniques, and change management.
