Automation Engineer
About this position
The Automation Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring technology to enhance efficiency in various processes while ensuring safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
• Planning, implementing, and monitoring up to date technology to improve, streamline and automate manufacturing, electricity generation, warehouse distribution and many other processes to reduce the need for human intervention and maximize efficiency
• Working together with other department to identify and adjust the machine based on their needs.
• Working together with vendors or consultants for all projects own by Automation team
• Identifies machine breakdown and find solutions to repair it and do preventive (working together with maintenance teams)
• Adviser for any damage / non-compliance that cannot be directly handled by maintenance team
• Coordinate with related departments when conducting inspections by prioritizing safety aspects
• Ensure all the activities related to health, safety and environment (HSE) aspect will be implemented as procedure and policy from HSE committee
• Work safely according to work procedures
• Take corrective action when encountering unsafe conditions or unsafe acts and report them to superiors.
• Ensure members under his/her supervision are healthy and safe during work.
• Ensure that the work environment is clean, tidy, safe, and free from hazards.
• Ensure emergency response equipment is available and ready for use.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Experience 2 years as automation specialist
• Good knowledge in Feed production process
• Familiar with feed industry, livestock, and fisheries
• Understand and implement ISO 22000: 2018 & HACCP
• The principle and management of machine maintenance
• Deep understanding of Automation system, AutoCAD, FMEA Method, and Programing (VB, C++, C Sharpe, etc.)
• Understand in electrical wiring (DOL, Star Delta, PLC, AC).
• Willing to work in Bekasi, West Java.
