About PT United Rope

The history began when our honorary founder recognized the potential of rope and fishing net market in Indonesia as early as the end of second world war. At that time, rope and fishing net products were mainly imported to Indonesia to a famous fishing island at the western part of Sumatera by the strait of Malacca. From the beginning, our honorary founder had envisioned the importance of marketing and technical know how of producing good quality products. In line with that vision and together with using of high quality machines, our first plant started producing in 1969.
