Counterman
About this position
The Counterman is responsible for managing customer interactions at the sales counter, executing various processes related to parts quotation, ordering, and billing, while ensuring efficient service delivery.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for executing welcoming and closing event at counter for branches under his/her coverage, e.g., receive call, greet, create ticket, probing and gather information and needs from customers, validate, update issues, information into the system,
• Responsible for executing parts quotation process, e.g., receive parts list, input data in system, validate customer ID and status, check parts validity, check alternative/replacement/up-level/down-level, check availability, check and validate price,
• Responsible for executing parts ordering process, e.g., receive order reference (PO/SO), validate quotation number vs PO/SO, validate item, quantity, description and price, input data in system/activate quotation, check and action any halt in system,
• Responsible for executing parts expediting process, e.g., provide daily BO report, check any unsuccessful order, check long outstanding order and take action accordingly in accordance with standard time and procedures to ensure parts OTIF achieved.
• Responsible for preparating and completing of documents related to parts billing process, e.g., confirm parts arrival and issued to customer, collect and provide all supporting document to Sales Admin for billing process, dispatch the document to respective parties.
• Responsible for executing Counterman specific task, e.g., warehouse process, core inspection etc. in accordance with branch specific capability, to ensure branch capabilities are utilized to fulfill business requirement.
Requirements
• Minimum SMK in Technical major
• GPA minimum N/A
• Minimum 1 years experience in Sales Counter from Heavy Equipment Industry
