Proposal Engineer
About this position
Responsibilities
• Interpreting RFQ from customer into technical design and engineering
• Performs site surveys to develop base design and installation plans
• Prepare technical and commercial proposal on time based on deadline from customer
• Support preparation of all necessary bidding documentation
• Liaise between Sales, Engineering, and Project Management Department
• Supporting Sales to establish, develop, and maintain relationships with customers
• Supporting Sales in tender negotiation and contract terms
• Supporting team internal work method development
• May manage respective vendors or subcontractors
• Reporting to Assistant Proposal Manager
Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Electrical or Civil Engineering from reputable university
• Min. 1 year working experience in Solar PV Project
• Min. 2 years working experience as Electrical Engineer, or Sales, or Proposal Engineer / Cost Estimator
• Have a good written and verbal English skills
• Familiar with Ms. Office
• Have a good competence in Ms. Excel
• Have a great attention to details
• Familiar with Solargis, PVsyst, HelioScope and AutoCAD
• Familiar with logistic terms (i.e. incoterm)
• Have ability to read electrical engineering drawings
• Ready to work overtime if necessary
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, under pressure, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Active in organization

• Have vendor databases
• Have experience with civil works
