We are a privately held company with product penetration across the food service, general trade and modern retail segments PT. Diamond Cold Storage (Diamond) was founded in January ’74 as a PMA (foreign direct investment company) by three partners. Mr. W.T. Chen was the local partner, with Cold Storage Company Ltd. of Singapore and Amatil Australia (now Amatil Coca Cola) as the foreign partners. At the time, Indonesia’s ice cream market was in its infancy. Consumption of ice cream was extremely low and refrigerated distribution was next to non-existent. After five years, Mr. W.T. Chen took over, and Diamond’s fortunes began to change

About this position

The Area Sales Manager MT for the Jabodetabek Area is responsible for achieving sales targets in the modern trade sector, developing a motivated sales team, and managing trade promotions while ensuring stock availability and visibility in outlets.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for achieving sales target in modern trade area
• Developing and motivating sales force team to achieve individual’s and team performance
• Develop trade and consumer promotions and manages execution of such trade and consumer promotions
• Controlling outlets regarding stocks availability
• Secures visibility according to set standards in all trade outlets and events
• Actively tries to create space within venues to facilitate the attainment of visibility objectives
• Leading and managing marketing events and programs
• Reporting : Submits necessary reports periodically; meets deadlines and abides by the route plans
• Developing a strong relationship of co-operation and partnership with all accounts.

Requirements

• Graduated from Bachelor/Master Degree any major from reputable university with minimum GPA 3.00
• Having experience in the same position at least for 3 years (preferable from FMCG Company)
• Must have experience in Modern Trade Area
• Good command in English both spoken and written
• Computer literacy
• Familiar with modern market business and sales activity
• Communicative, Have strong personality, Target oriented, Self motivated, and adaptable
• Willing place in Cibitung - Bekasi
