About this position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Data Center Network Architect to design, implement, maintain, and optimize our data center network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with a deep understanding of data center networking, security, automation, and cloud integration, ensuring our network is secure, scalable, and highly available.

Responsibilities

• Review existing design and implement scalable, secure, and redundant data center network architectures using modern technologies (e.g., spine-leaf topology)
• Develop strategies for network integration with hybrid and multi-cloud environments
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to improve network performance and reliability
• Review configuration MOP of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other networking devices from vendors such as Cisco, HPE, and F5
• Implement and manage Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solutions like Cisco ACI.
• Ensure proper VLAN, VxLAN, QoS, and routing protocol configurations for optimal network performance
• Perform network capacity planning to ensure infrastructure supports current and future business needs
• Develop and maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures
• Automate repetitive network tasks using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Python scripting
• Optimize network configurations to reduce latency, enhance throughput, and minimize downtime
• Implement network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and micro-segmentation
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS
• Conduct regular network security assessments and audits

Requirements

• 8-12+ years in networking roles, with at least 3–5 years focusing on data center networks
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise networks or service provider environments
• Certifications (Highly Valued): CCIE / CCNP / JNCIE / VCP-NV / CISSP
