An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, creative, and professional Technical Sous Chef to join Rich's family.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• To capture the market, industry and customer trends for growth opportunities including bakery, foodservice and other channels.
• Daily management of the technical team activities including the support to develop the weekly/monthly technical plans.
• Coordinate the technical associates’ understanding of customers’ needs and create value-add product solutions.
• Work and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to implement technical plans service to customers, mainly Innovator/Leader Segmentation.
• Work with sales & technical team to develop product applications for all platforms.
• Develop new recipes/new designs/new applications for Rich Products.
• To provide group training to internal culinary team and external customers as organized by TAC.
• Ensure the successful implementation of workshops and seminars.
• Leverage and contribute to regional technical team capabilities.
• Analyze and produce weekly and monthly reports.
• To drive the Rich Experience.
• Participate in trade show as needed.
• Establish and enrich customer experience including the need to build industry relationships.
• Answer inbound queries from potential customers.
Requirements
Requirements:
• A Culinary Chef or Cook with 5 years of experience working in a similar role in a related industry or Hotel is an advantage.
• Experience in FMCG industry or retail industry would be advantageous.
• Bachelor or Diploma Degree graduate, major in Culinary Arts or Food & Beverage.
• Demonstrated skills as a Culinary Chef or Barista is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to commit customers and close sales.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of local markets, industry, and market trends.
• Strong analytical skills and proficient with MS office, especially Excel.
• Strong sense of responsibilities and problem identification.
• Creative problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong capabilities in teamwork.
• Computer Literacy.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
