About this position
The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
• Implement and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare reports on safety performance and metrics for management review.
• Serve as a point of contact for health and safety issues, providing guidance and support to staff.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices, recommending improvements to safety initiatives.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a health and safety role.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
