About this position

The Account Manager will be responsible for sales communication integration services and development in the IT field, particularly focusing on e-Ticketing Systems, Automatic Fare Collection, smart cards, and mobile solutions.

Responsibilities

• Sales communication integration services and development (software and hardware) in the IT field, especially for e-Ticketing System or AFC (Automatic Fare Collection), smart card and Mobile Solution

Requirements

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Transportation Management, or Engineering. Advanced degrees or specialized certifications in transportation or logistics can be advantageous.
• Work Experience: Proven minimum five-year experiences in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the transportation and logistic or technology sector. Experience in dealing with complex sales cycles and large accounts is often required.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with transportation and logistic systems, software solutions, and integration services. Understanding of the transportation industry’s trends, challenges, and regulations.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to understand and articulate the technical aspects of transportation & logistic solutions, including software and hardware integration, data analytics, and IoT applications.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and present to clients and stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand client needs and propose suitable solutions. Ability to analyse market trends and customer data to identify sales opportunities.
• Customer Relationship Management: Experience with CRM tools and strategies for maintaining and expanding customer relationships. Ability to build long-term partnerships with key clients.
• Sales and Target Orientation: A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
• Adaptability and Learning Skills: Adaptability to rapidly changing technologies and environments in the transportation sector. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry developments.
• Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical, marketing, and operational departments.
• Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients, attend conferences, and engage in onsite client consultations.
• Regulatory Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements in the transportation industry, especially related to technology and software solutions.
