About this position

The Security Technical Architect at NTT DATA is a seasoned subject matter expert responsible for designing robust security architectures for systems, applications, and infrastructure. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant, and industry best practice-aligned technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops comprehensive security architectures for systems, applications, and infrastructure, considering current and future needs.
• Acts as a trusted technical advisor to clients.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to integrate security requirements into system design and development lifecycle.
• Provides pre-sales technical support and expertise in analyzing client requirements.
• Offers guidance in secure coding practices, network security, identity and access management, data protection, and other security domains.
• Evaluates and selects security technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Defines and enforces security policies, standards, and procedures for compliance.
• Leads incident response activities in coordination with the incident response team.
• Develops technical design documents and participates in scope of work determination.
• Assists in outsourcing decisions, product pricing, and implementation solutions.
• Guides Sales team members in deal closure and forecasting.
• Manages client proof of concept initiatives and transitions proposed solutions to delivery teams.
• Evaluates opportunities for alignment with organizational capabilities and prepares executive summaries for clients.

Requirements

• Expertise in protecting sensitive data, mitigating risks, and maintaining system confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Experience in secure coding practices, network security, identity and access management, and data protection.
• Ability to define and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Proficiency in incident response activities and technical design document production.
• Skills in pre-sales technical support, client collaboration, and stakeholder management.
• Capability to evaluate client requirements and provide appropriate security solutions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to guide Sales team members and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
