About this position

The Senior Associate Business Analyst works with internal and external clients to determine requirements and define solutions to address business, process, and systems problems. They act as a liaison among stakeholders to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a bridge between the business problems and the technology solutions.
• Supports the analysis, transformation, and resolution of business problems with technology.
• Works with internal clients to determine business requirements and define solutions.
• Delivers business projects in line with sponsor requirements and enterprise architecture.
• Proactively develops and deploys enhanced services and platforms.
• Identifies and documents operational gaps and assists with issue resolution.
• Adheres to relevant development and support processes.
• Communicates and escalates issues as needed.
• Takes responsibility for project elements under guidance.

Requirements

• Demonstrated understanding of business practices and processes.
• Team player with good client service orientation and organization skills.
• Developing expertise in specific systems, processes, and technologies.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen empathetically and engage with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of project management methodology.
• Good analytical skills to convert business requirements into operational deliverables.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange, Word, Excel Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Understanding of systems used in a services organization.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Project management certification advantageous.
• IIBA Membership required.
• PMI PBA certification.
• Relevant technology certification(s) required, such as ITIL.
