About this position

As a Quality Technician with Givaudan, you will inspect and analyze raw materials, in-process, and finished product samples to ensure compliance with product safety regulations, specifications, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, physical testing, sensory evaluations of products or samples as identified by the current Givaudan specification for the item.
• Create sensory plan and lead sensory evaluations of products.
• Enter test results into SAP timely resulting in an acceptance or rejection.
• Performs basic equipment calibrations per frequency noted in calibration procedures.
• Perform instruments, equipment and quality deviations troubleshooting in laboratory.
• Maintain work a hygienic, 5S implementation and safe work environment.
• Provide backup and support to team members as necessary.
• Identify opportunity for improvements in QC and set proactive measure for trouble prevention.
• Create work of instruction, standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma in Food Technology, Chemical or related science or engineering discipline.
• Overall work experience of 3 to 4 years in similar positions.
• Operational experience and strong affinity on laboratory system, analytical equipment and instruments.
• Knowledge on chemical substances, hazardous material and related local regulations.
• Experienced in SAP is preferred.
• Good Sensory Evaluation experience preferred.
• Willing to working in a shift.
