Business Development Officer - Toba
About this position
Identify, introduce, and offer company programs while maintaining relationships with potential farmers and communities around Lake Toba to drive the company's business growth.
Responsibilities
• Conduct visits to potential farmers to offer the company’s cooperative programs.
• Educate farmers on the benefits of partnering with the company by providing a comprehensive overview of the offered programs.
• Input data for product purchase requests from each farmer into the system.
• Provide updates on the farmers’ loan limits based on transactions for each product.
• Prepare daily reports for each visit to farmers, covering selling, upselling, and maintenance activities.
• Plan stock requirements for farmers, including feed, medication, and vitamins.
• Record data on DOC (Day of Culture), types of feed and seeds used, pond distribution and quantity, and both partial and total harvest data.
Requirements
• D3/S1 in any field of study.
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar position.
• Must have 2+ years of experience in sales and possess strong relationships with farmers and communities around Lake Toba.
• Strong sales skills with a proven track record of closing deals.
• Excellent persuasive communication skills.
• Proficient in executing determined sales strategies to meet operational needs.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the farmers’ culture in the designated area.
