About this position
The Head of Search Engine Optimization is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance website visibility and increase organic traffic.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, improve keyword rankings, and enhance overall website visibility.
• Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value target keywords and phrases. Analyze keyword performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO management platforms. Generate regular reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Make recommendations around content and optimizations to the site.
• Monitor social media channels for mentions of the brand, industry trends, and relevant keywords.
• Track and analyze key performance metrics for social media and SEO efforts, including reach, engagement, website traffic, keyword rankings, and conversions.
• Familiarity and control over SEO reporting and web analytics tools.
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in marketing management, communication science, computer science, or a related field is usually required.
• Have a 3 – 4 year background as an SEO Specialist or Digital Marketing; background experience in a digital marketing or e-commerce agency company is a plus.
• Have an understanding of SEO principles such as optimizing on-page, off-page, analyzing data, understanding internet algorithms, and keyword analysis.
• Have technical skills in HTML, CSS, and website structure.
• In-depth knowledge about analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ubersuggest, and others.
• Strong strategic, controlling and analyzing website performance use, session, CTR, and others.
