About this position
Responsibilities
• Analyze and design structures for various projects, ensuring they are safe and stable.
• Help develop efficient and cost-effective structural systems
• Ensure designs meet all building codes and industry standards
• Implement quality checks to ensure safety in construction projects
• Stay updated on new trends and technologies in structural engineering
• Look for ways to improve efficiency and sustainability in designs
• Lead structural engineering projects from start to finish, meeting deadlines and budgets
• Work with architects, contractors, and other teams to create integrated project solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and promote teamwork
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations
• Provide expert advice to ensure client satisfaction and build long-term relationships
• Keep learning about industry advancements and participate in training to improve skills
• Understand and apply environmental management (ISO 14001), occupational health and safety (ISO 45001), and quality management (ISO 9001) standards in projects
Requirements
• Possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, primarily in a consultant construction company.
• Advanced English proficiency, with intermediate skills in business-level communication (oral & written).
• SKA Madya-Utama (may be required) or any certifications related to sustainable construction practices and green building design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software, ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD
• Effective communication, leadership, project management, problem-solving, adaptability, negotiation, conflict resolution, time management, mentoring, and client relationship management.
